My son however from 9 months was helping to tidy and loved mirroring me when doing chores. He puts his clothes away perfectly, tidies his room and packs all puzzles pieces etc away. He's now two and gets so excited when I let him unpack the dishwasher it's adorable!Lady Mosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06949416796845047599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-74390099722456493522012-08-17T03:45:42.939-03:002012-08-17T03:45:42.939-03:00Mari-Ann,

The silly part is that when's i do my laundry she loves folding my clothes and also putting them away : )

Hope baby girl is doing good and wish her an early happy birthday Olives and Pickleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03732833409515576314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-78465916014434430912012-08-15T17:03:19.885-03:002012-08-15T17:03:19.885-03:00Great idea! Regarding your second question, once the skill is mastered it becomes part of the child's routine.Counting Coconutshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09417165680507471874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-88965778311234918492012-08-12T22:53:06.084-03:002012-08-12T22:53:06.084-03:00I'm glad you posted this. Why not just have James fold clothes (or any other practical life) with you every day? When does it (if ever) switch from an educational basket to a chore?Corriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18407009384129965375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-59229825724428882282012-08-11T15:13:39.944-03:002012-08-11T15:13:39.944-03:00Great one. It always catches my attention when I see a kid who is very familiar with how to fold a large floor mat. The rest of the kids watch in wonder. It's great the way you describe to your child the step-by-step process of folding. 3YO is not too young to learn folding.Pam Schmidthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10674788495308480567noreply@blogger.com
