I have such a huge desire to learn how to knit.. but I don't know anyone (personally *ahem*) that knows how. I am very visual so I know I need to find someone to teach me how! I'm still stuck in the beginner knitter squares & rectangles stage...and I've been at it for several years! I must get myself to a high speed internet connection so that I can access YouTube and learn some new skills. Dial-up is ridiculously cumbersome!

Beautiful work :-)W-S Wanderingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06242784517253760863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-15640087496883386662010-08-08T15:48:22.647-03:002010-08-08T15:48:22.647-03:00Thanks so much, ladies!

I've been wanting to learn how to embroider, too.

Sunshine Mama, during my first couple of months as a knitter I only knit scarves, too! Hats and bags are surprisingly easy, especially when you use the Magic Loop method!

Christy, if you don't know how to knit you MUST learn!! :) It's such a wonderfully relaxing skill to know. I went to a local beginning knitters class, but truthfully I learned (and in some cases re-learned - my teacher wasn't very good) everything via the many, many amazing how-to videos on YouTube. HTH :)Counting Coconutshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09417165680507471874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-46688610339249777342010-08-08T14:24:42.489-03:002010-08-08T14:24:42.489-03:00Just wondering - how did you learn to knit? I am so not confident enough to try my hand at making hats and bags yet. Just scarfs for me for now. I love your creations, it makes me want to give other things a try (other than scafs, lol).
StephanieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681682116832899311.post-18208960374885675872010-08-08T09:42:28.491-03:002010-08-08T09:42:28.491-03:00I like your bowls! I think I need to make myself some large felted bowls for the kitchen. :) I'll probably get a post done about my recent finished projects sooner or later, but I just finished my 2nd dress for the munchkin, and I'm halfway through my first pair of socks! I really like the book knit one, embellish too by Cosette Cornelius-Bates for hats - she has such cool embroidery and things on them. I made the lollipop hat for my daughter last year and she loved it! I'm hoping to get into needle felting here sometime this year.
