18 Miles!

This is just a quick post to say THANK YOU to all of you lovely bloggy friends for wishing me a happy birthday on here, through emails and on Facebook!

And, because some of you asked...

I spent my 34th birthday walking 18 miles for the island's annual charity walk. I've been training for this for over 5 months, and having had 4 knee surgeries with one still pending, I feel so happy about completing this goal with both knees perfectly intact! :) It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed every minute of it!

    Happy Birthday! What a great way to spend your birthday. Speaking of birthdays, I didn't realize my Hannah shares a birthday with James. I just saw the "You might also like" link to your April 11th post. Hadn't seen the post originally as I was in the hospital (I was actually still in the hospital for MY birthday) and haven't spent a lot of time checking out blogs (especially old posts) since then, what with a newborn and all. So, happy belated birthday to your big boy.
