Hi there!
As you can see, I haven't been blogging regularly for several months now. This is a result of a sudden blog-break I had to take last fall, and the subsequent enjoyment of realized free time! The truth is, it takes quite a lot of time to maintain a blog, especially one with photos and detailed explanations. Right now my life is full of wonderful responsibilities and it's those things that need my time and attention. I won't say for sure that I'm through with blogging - I like knowing I can come back and share things when/if I want to. In the meantime, I will leave my blog up and available for as long as Blogger allows - go ahead and search through my archives for lots of ideas. If you're on Facebook, feel free to follow my page. If I'm active
with Counting Coconuts it'll be most evident on that page. Here's the

Thanks to all of you who continue to follow Counting Coconuts and for your kind emails and comments!
Hugs,
Mari-Ann
I understand completely the time it takes to maintain a blog! I have to say, your blog was one of the first that I ever started perusing when I began Montessori in my home, and I LOVE it! I still try to check back to find good ideas for certain things if I have a brain block. I would love to see more from you, whenever you feel up to blogging, and am so thankful that it will stay up! In the meantime, I will follow on facebook! I just wanted you to know that your hard work was not for naught - this is one follower that really enjoyed it, although I didn't start following until most of it was already there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your contributions, I find inspiration every time I visit your blog.
ReplyDeleteJust want to thank you for all the help you've been to me. My grandchildren are growing up so I don't use a lot anymore but you were there when I needed your work. Thank you again and enjoy your new adventures.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I took a step back from blogging and thought of returning but can't seem to find the time! I don't know how I used to blog daily!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI recently discovered your blog thru Living Montessori Now, and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing so many of your ideas! They are truly inspiring! I love scrolling through your site and getting ideas for how to work with my little kiddo, who just turned 4.
So, enjoy your break & know that what you've left here is a real treasure trove!
Something about your blog attracted me from day one. It's the first blog I have ever seen and it's still the one I frequently visit. I don't know what, why or how exactly but whenever I visit your blog, I feel relaxed. No matter how many blogs I visit, yours has got a special place in my heart. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteHello

Blogging IS time-consuming! But I love to write! I don't think you could stop me from writing if you tied my hands behind my back because I would still be composing things in my head!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your kiddos! Sometimes it's nice to remember that there is more to life than blogging and social media. I'm working hard on trying to find that line myself.
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! Spending time face to face with real people is underrated these days. Only come back to blogging when you know the time is right!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can totally relate to this! We miss you, though!!! In the meantime, I'll keep digging through your archives, picking up good ideas! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for creating this blog! I love, love, LOVE it! I just have to say that I really hope to see you continue to blog, or at least keep your blog going. I know how life can be and how much time it takes to blog. I totally respect your choice. I also think you have created an amazing thing here. One which I am still trying to sort thru. I just barely made my first sensory tub and hope to continue learning things from your site so I can teach my daughter using the many amazing things you have put out here for us all. Thank you!
