Our Littlest Coconut

She's here! She's here! Ohmygosh she's here!!!!

(clearing throat) Sorry, I'm still just a little excited. Our sweet and wonderful baby girl is finally here with us and let me tell you she is nothing short of amazing! Of course I'm not at all biased. ;)

Meet our little Juliet

Juliet came into the world on August 22nd at 12:52pm. She weighed 7lbs., 8oz. and was 18.5" long. She has soft brown hair and the most kissable cheeks ever!

James is absolutely head over heels in love with her. His first words to her were: "I love you, baby sister!!". He has showered her with so much love and affection that it has brought me to tears on more than one occasion. It's heaven seeing the two of them together.

My husband and I are just as proud as can be and feel so very blessed to have these two loves in our lives.

PS: I am beyond happy to report that, despite a very rough start, exclusive breastfeeding is going beautifully!! I owe so much to my friends and local La Leche League consultants for their support!

    I am glad to hear that nursing is going well, too. The first few weeks are always the hardest, but after that it is the best thing. I love that bonding time. :) So happy that you have support, too. :)

    I'm not biassed at all, and she IS amazing...little rosebud lips, wideset eyes...precious! These pictures brought tears to my eyes when I remember introducing my son to his new little sister...priceless moment. Now my kids are 6, 4, and 2, and I love watching what a wonderful teacher and big brother he has become. They fight and wrestle and dance and cuddle and create together. A child's first and lifetime friend is their sibling...what a lovely gift you've given James! And her name...LOVE IT! Glad to hear you're doing well. Enjoy your babymoon.

    So glad to hear that you are all doing well! Juliet is beautiful and I love the pictures of your two adorable children together. I remember when my Juliette was born, every morning Emily would wake up and come into our room and ask where Juliette was and then just gaze at her in the cradle. It is an amazing feeling!! So glad that exclusive breastfeeding is going so well...that is a pretty amazing and wonderful thing too :) Can't wait to see more pictures as you have time to post...until then continue to enjoy your beautiful baby girl!!

    How adorable! Seems like yesterday that my twins were that small...now they are 4 months and soon enough they will be off to school! I am trying to cherish each and every day of them being tiny because it only lasts a very short period of time!

    Congratulations! She is precious! She looks so teeny but was actually bigger than my son was at birth (7lbs, 7oz). Its amazing how much they grow. My son is only 4 months now and is 15lbs!
