Mudpuppy Review & Giveaway

~This giveaway is now closed~

Do you all know about Mudpuppy? If so, you know how amazing their products are! If not, I'm thrilled to introduce you to your new go-to toy suppliers. Mudpuppy is an award winning (iParenting, Creative Child, Dr. Toy to name just a few!) manufacturer of colorful, creative, fun and educational toys. They offer everything from puzzles and games to stationary and books.

I've been a fan of Mudpuppy products for years. We've been playing and learning with their toys since James was just a little guy. Here are a few of our favorites...These block puzzles are so much fun! I love the illustrations on these - the blunt shapes and funky color combinations come together for such an eye catching picture.

These sticker scenes are the BEST! Perfect for those kids (like mine) who want more than just a sticker. And I have to admit, I enjoy playing with them too. :) We own a handful of these and love each one. Oh and bonus - you can mix and match them and really let the imagination flow!

These ring flash cards are so useful - you can remove them from the ring if you want to focus on just a few cards at a time or make a game out of them. There are several styles choose from!

So, you can imagine how excited I was when the lovely folks at Mudpuppy sent us the Under the Sea Constructibles set to play with and review.

Our verdict?
Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

James loves these constructibles and plays with them often, building all sorts of creations. The large slots and chunky earth-friendly cardboard pieces* make it easy for little hands to manipulate while improving eye-hand coordination, and perfecting those important fine motor skills, too. *Hooray! The pieces are packaging are made of 100% recycled paper and printed with nontoxic inks!

James got such a kick out of all the sea creatures on the pieces and, being the little counting maniac that he is, went about counting and sorting the animals making the most out of an already great learning tool.

Now for the giveaway! Mudpuppy has graciously offered to giveaway one Under the Sea Constructibles set to one of my readers!! I'm sorry, but this giveaway is only open to those with a US address. Here's what you need to do to enter:

Thanks Counting Coconuts...I visit your site daily and love your ideas. Appreciate the introduction to Mudpuppy. I will go shopping now. Today was my little girl's first day of Montessori (17 months), and I welcome any age appropriate helpful hints/resources. Most I find is geared toward the older ones. I've even perused your archives for when James was younger. Congrats on #2!

I love Counting Coconuts and your wonderfully creative activities. Our little girl started Montessori today (seventeen months), and I enjoy searching your archives for age appropriate activities, too. Would love any other resources you might be aware of for her age range. Thanks, Cyndi in Texas
