James and I had SO much fun making these! We gathered a bag of shells from our ever growing collection and set off to the beach. James and I talked about the different animals and things you find at the beach and in the ocean. Then we worked together to create some collages (or 'pictures' as James calls them) of them using shells, sea glass, bits of coral and broken pottery.

Charming as always! We're trying to decide where to go on vacation....you're making the beach the obvious choose!
Awww, this is sooo beautiful! We were at the beach too. I enjoy relaxing at the beach and listening to the sounds of the sea.
How fun! I have a set of shells that I've been saving since next year waiting for the perfect moment. Now I know what I will do with them :)
These would make great summer decor put in frames and hung on a wall.
Those are beautiful! Can't wait to try this with my kids someday.
Those are lovely, have a fun beach weekend! Karen

The fish is my favorite! Too cute. Wish I had a beach nearby to do this. But I am going to keep this idea in the back of mind for the next time we are on vacation!
These are BEAUTIFUL!!! You are so creative, I really admire your inventiveness.
We live near the beach. My grand daughter is coming over tomorrow to help me clean shells and we will try this. She's almost 4 and will love it! Thanks for the great idea!
