::Fall themed buttons
We're still playing with our Halloween tub quite a bit, so this one will have to wait to come out for another few days. I'll be posting about November playdough soon.
~Thank you for your comments!~
cute cute!! I love the scarecrow!
I love adding something scented to the sensory tub, we've got cinnamon sticks in ours!
I love it!
ohh great tub :) I wonder if I can find some straw at Michaels :)
Looks like another fun one! Thanks for sharing! Kerri
I really look forward to your sensory tub posts! Seriously, I do! They're always so creative and appealing too. I just put together a fall sensory tub this past week, which was inspired by the one you did with leaves. I'll post it soon and link back to you. : ) I had also put a pumpkin-orange scented candle in it, and it DOES smell wonderful! I love your November one--love the hay idea!
I LOVE this idea. I am working on compiling one for November as well. How big is your actual "tub" and how do your store the tub items when not in use? I need an organization strategy before I start if I have any hope of reusing the tub items :)
Thanks for sharing your ideas!!!
I bet the beeswax candles are divine! We went to a pumpkin patch with a large straw area for the kids to play. Sophie had an excellent time, but I was kind of glad to leave the hay at the farm because it made me sneeze!
I love your addition of pumpkin candles in your sensory tub! I was thinking about throwing some spices or something scented in this time around.
I had also been contemplating using hay this month (either hay or dried corn-not popcorn). Is it poke-y/sharp? Does it shred easily? I'm wondering how my guy would like that...and how I would like cleaning it up!
Thank you SO MUCH for your comments!
@Ma Ledford: I'll be sharing a post soon answering all of the sensory tub questions I've received. :)
@Cara: No, it doesn't feel sharp or pokey (I worried about that too) and it does separate easily. It's actually really nice and soft. But, it is VERY messy/dusty. :S It's now become and outdoor tub.
Aw this one is so cute! James must look forward to these to seeing what you've come up with, they're all so different from one another. GREAT job!!!
Recently started a sensory station in our k classroom and can't wait to change it up with some November-themed items. Thanks for the ideas :D
